NACHTMYSTIUM Pulls Out Of THE HAUNTED Tour
March 17, 2009Chicago-area psychedelic black metal group NACHTMYSTIUM have released the following statement:
"NACHTMYSTIUM, unfortunately, had to cancel our slot co-headlining THE HAUNTED's U.S./Canadian tour this coming April. Frontman Blake Judd had an accident and broke his leg last weekend and will be in a cast for the next 12 weeks and may need surgery. More news in the coming weeks…
"We've already rescheduled a U.S./Canadian tour for June and are awaiting the 'OK' from our booking representatives the announce the tour and dates.
"Sorry to anyone hoping to see us in April! After this whole bullshit fiasco with the Scion Rock Fest a few weeks back, and now this, it's been one thing after the other around here. Fear not, we will be back soon enough…"
NACHTMYSTIUM's latest full-length album, "Assassins: Black Meddle Part I", was released on June 10, 2008 via Century Media Records in North America and June 23, 2008 through Candlelight Records in Europe.
The "Assassins..." full-length was recorded in December 2007 at Sanford Parker's Volume Studios (RWAKE, MINSK, LAIR OF THE MINOTAUR, PELICAN) and showcases NACHTMYSTIUM's most prolific and expansive sounds to date. The record features Tony Laureano (ANGELCORPSE, NILE, DIMMU BORGIR) on drums, and guest appearances by members of PHARAOH and YAKUZA.
